Our mission at MedAid Cuba is to enhance the quality of healthcare and promote a healthier, more hopeful future for Cuban people. We hope to provide crucial support and essential medical supplies to hospitals in need across Cuba, for the dedicated and resilient Cuban healthcare professionals who tirelessly care for their communities and to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients.

Our primary mission is to provide essential support to communities in Cuba, however, we are always open to helping anyone in need, especially when individuals or communities reach out to us for assistance.

Meet Club Co-Founders

Juliet Cruz and Jasnoor Gill

At the heart of MedAid Cuba lies a powerful friendship between two individuals who share a deep commitment to making a difference in the lives of those they care about.

Juliet, a passionate and determined Cuban native, and Jasnoor, her equally compassionate Indian friend, joined forces with a common goal: to make healthcare more accessible and improving lives. We embarked on a journey of hope, compassion, and change.

Despite being from diverse cultural backgrounds, Juliet and Jasnoor recognized that the power of friendship and a shared sense of purpose knows no borders. Together, they decided to establish MedAid Cuba at the University of Ottawa, with the hope of creating a platform that would attract like-minded individuals to join their important cause.

We strive to make an impact on healthcare resource access, not only in our home countries but also across borders.
